One of the most challenging things when you have an animal is where it goes to relieve itself. For me, personally, it was extremely hard till I found out that there are some tips and tricks you can use. It’s not just about the fact that you have to clean after them all the time, but the smell is something horrible. When my sister, Stacy, told me about the cat she had found on the street, I knew exactly what was going to happen. All I wanted was to take it in and to stay with it forever. I went to it and it was so tiny and fragile. I couldn’t resist and took it in. Generally, cats are assholes, but from time to time, they can be very, very nice and loving. Let’s be honest, if someone loves a cat, it is the biggest sign that they are a good person.  

The Differences Between a Cat and a Dog as Pets  

From my point of view, the biggest difference between a cat and a dog when it comes to keeping them inside it’s the fact that the dog will go out to pee and the cat will pee wherever it wants in your house. When I took my cat in, I swear to God that its main purpose was to destroy my life and my house. It was pee everywhere and the smell was so bad that I had to get rid of my carpets. It was such a difficult period. 

Anyway, I went to the specialist to have a talk about this subject and he recommended some tips and tricks. He literally saved my life. The first thing he told me was that I needed to buy a potion and spray it in the cat’s litter. It really made sense. When I first started, there was a huge difference. He told me to buy cat litter crystals and the smell simply disappeared.  

After that, I did my own research and I found out another interesting solution. I learned about the clumping cat litter. This kind of litter is easier to clean because it becomes solid once it gets wet. My cat is only doing its business in the litter and everything is easy to handle.  

The Particularities of Clumping Cat Litter  

I was very pleasantly surprised when my mother, Mary, a very intelligent woman, came up with the idea of buying clumping cat litter. Everything changed from that afternoon. I didn’t even have to clean the entire box. So, it is not necessary to change the entire litter, but just to take out the parts that have become solid. Anyway, you need to know that this kind of litter doesn’t really make the smell disappear. It suddenly became easy to clean and very economical.

As I already said in the previous paragraph, the cat litter crystals are more efficient in neutralizing the smell. The difference between this and the clumping cat litter is that your cat can pee several times on it without it being necessary to clean because it will not smell.  

So, when you change the crystal litter, you will need to change the entire box, while with the clumping one, you just need to take the clumps out. Let’s be honest: it’s easier nowadays to buy things because we can buy them online. There is no way I’m going to the physical store to buy pet supplies, especially for a cat. There are a lot of things that are heavy and big and I prefer them to be delivered to my doorstep rather than carrying them by myself. Some shops also have free shipping and you don’t have to pay extra for the delivery. Anyway, if you calculate, you may find out that even if the delivery is not free, it is possible to be cheaper than driving there and buying them.
